Loneliness is nothing to do with time and activity level. We can be busy and yet feeling being lonely.

Loneliness can strike a person at any age,young and old, rich or poor. When it strikes ,it has bad emotional and mental consequences.

Loneliness is different from being alone. Set aside time for being alone every day is a good strategy. When being alone one can relax, clear and calm the mind, doing self reflection and even set time for prayer or meditation. Once we are able to manage being alone than we can contain loneliness.

Our mind stored all sorts of memory, and loneliness always bring out bad memory from the past. Because memory retrival when loneliness strikes, it is ineviatbly that bad memory surface first. Negative emotion comes first, when negative emotion overpowered our mind then many bad feelings would appear freely even one try not to think about it. This is how the mind works.

Avoid loneliness at any time, set life goal whether it is big or small, easy or difficult and in the process we can avoid loneliness. Setting life goals are for the process and it may not be our final destiny after all.
