141. Wisdom

Wisdom and a high level of wisdom are beyond the reach of human being. I will try to explain the meaning of wisdom.

A person who has wisdom is the person who would not be happy with how rich he is or how rich he would become, how many properties he has, with more future job promotion, and more power. He would only think of helping other people, making other happy. He would have less desire on earthy things. In reality, he has no self. – No Self. Yes, no self.

Look at Lord Jesus, he has three forms; trinity. Lord Shiva has multiple hands and heads. Therefore they are in a different state of understanding of the real world. God has WISDOM and God has no setback. Buddha was not a god. Buddha developed a high level of wisdom. Buddha eightfold paths penetrate religions. Eightfold paths are grouped into wisdom, morality and concentration. The wisdom in buddhism that is based on the direct realization of such things as the four noble truths, impermanence, interdependent origination, non-self and emptiness.

Even in human world, Wisdom is higher than knowledge, higher than understanding and consciousness.

To expect human being to have wisdom is a tall order. Can we be less self, less ego, or egolessness? Now, there is a hope of achieving wisdom in our life time. Let me explain:

Define ourselves differently. If you are the only worker, when you are retired, you would feel at a loss. When you are only writer, when your books are not selling well. Your new book is sold at $1 at a second hand book store, you feel setback. But if you are a worker, a teacher, a writer , a DIY person, a gardener, a musician , a comedian, an investor, a wife, a mother, a singer, a traveler, a volunteer. It is easy to bounce back from any disappointment which you may have, hence you are less thinking of self. When there is a "flow', the more sources of joy and happiness will be with you. The side effect is wisdom.

“Wisdom is a side effect of what the good deed we did” – Simon Kong

Seeking wisdom is a lonely journey and a painful journey.

"The ways we provide answers to a subject we truly know will reflect the level of our wisdom." - Simon kong
