I saw people from time to time, unfortunately fall into depression TRAP. There are many reasons which leading to depression, for examples; a change in living conditions that leads to depression (time and place induced SAD) , or a person can't cope with daily life/work tasks, or a change in living pace/ transition in a life journey coupled with poor oxygen supply in the brain that can trigger depression. In general, shortages of essential neuro-chemicals (ie. Dopamine, ACH, Serotonin, GABA) in the brain are the main reasons for depression.



Depression is about mind and body delaying synchrony in possessing input information to the brain. Depressed people are having to struggle between mind and body well being. Firstly they are thinking too much, too anxious about everything around them. Secondly a tired body has to drag on the whole day before a night begins. When the night set in then they discover that they cant sleep. The vicious cycle can go on for a long time until a person gets exhausted and losing a meaning in life. Some of them feel that this world is grey, it does not belong to them.

Potential ways of reducing negative impact of depression?

1. self reflection, be aware of the body and the mind don't talk to each others.

2. Reduce self expectation of work, of relationship, of possessions.

3. Reduce thinking by doing more gentle physical exercise.

4. Jump out of the box. Don't plan. There is no need to find solution to everything. Just live a simple day with simple foods, walking in a nature near by and admire the environment around us.

5. Be flexible about our ways of analysing things. ie. forgiving is free, whereas cursing induced self-inflicted injury, especially emotion sabotage.

When the body and mind is out of synchrony, it might have negative impact on our bodies adjust to the Environment and Social Awareness, this disconnection/ vulnerability can happen to anyone in a life time, so one should get out of and do something different from the routine each day, then sooner and later our health and memory power will be back again.

6. Know personality profiling because each personality should have in-born traits and social traits; then make full use of them to serve our situations. Many indicators that one can explore , such as MBTI, DISC, Psychogeometry, Enneagram, NLP, 4P profile, 16PF, Platinum rule, blood group analysis etc.

7. Appropriate counselling, CBT, occupational therapy, art therapy, talk therapy, AC/BC & SL music healing, hypnosis, 7th path self hypnosis (ie. input your subsonscious mind with positive repetitive words with good feeling of recovery and encouragement, over 3 weeks), EMDR, nutrition, mindfulness meditation, NLP, Silva method, ACM, Biofeedback, Neurofeedback etc. can help.

8. Some depressed household response well in drugs (ie SSRIs, MAOIs, SNRIs, TCAs) and others feel the drugs make the situations worse.
